1Life 1Love, Inc. will further provide consulting services and staff development trainings for fellow colleagues in order to promote professional growth with regards to mental and behavioral health services.
Intensive In-Home Therapy is a clinical service provided to consumers in their home and community. Service are provided to youth who have returned or are returning home from out-of-home care, psychiatric hospitalization, or are at imminent risk of out of home placement due to mental health issues, emotional disturbances, and/or substance abuse issues. The intent of this service is to provide clinical interventions and support necessary to successfully maintain each consumer in his or her home or community without disruption. The goal is to provide a degree of care and supervision that is appropriate to each consumer’s individualized needs reducing the probability of placement in alternative or more restrictive setting. All treatment, care and support services must be provided in a context that is consumer centered, family focused, strength based, culturally competent and responsive to psychological, developmental, and treatment care needs.
MHSB services are defined asindividualized training to enable individuals to achieve and maintain community stability and independence in the most appropriate, least restrictive environment. MHSB must provide training in the following areas: functional skills and appropriate behavior related to the individual’s health and safety, activities of daily living, and use -of community resources; assistance with medication management; and monitoring health, nutrition, and physical condition.
Therapeutic Day Treatment School Based Program (TDT) provides interim treatment modalities and clinical/educational supportive interventions necessary to enhance academic performance. 1Life1Love, Inc.’s Therapeutic Day Treatment Program provides services to meet the needs of students with behavioral and emotional challenges.Therapeutic After School Program is focused on providing structure and support to at-risk youth who have been expelled or suspended from school or for students referred whereas Therapeutic Day treatment school based service may not be available to them. This program will afford the students the opportunity to address their behavioral, academic, social and emotional needs in a safe and therapeutic environment Therapeutic Day Treatment Extended Summer Session is a means for continuing to assist the child to focus on methods for generating cooperation and appropriate behaviors that have progressed during the school year.
